For those organizations not already having an established EDM system, Hugh Symons Information Management is able to provide CDView, a flexible and robust solution for the viewing and retrieval of images up to A0. 

Produced as licence-free software by Hugh Symons dedicated development team, this package is now being used by numerous clients across a great diversity of applications. CDView is used by our clients either as an entry level electronic archiving system or a simple yet sophisticated back up for more comprehensive work-flow systems.

Utilising all industry standard components, it allows easy migration into other systems yet provides a simple to use yet comprehensive system with many features usually found in more sophisticated software

1. CDView utilises standard image formats, TIFF, JPEG, PDF
2. Standard database formats
3. CDView can be applied to multiple projects or databases. 
4. Each database can be password projected to provide restricted access
5. Up to 10 fields can be utilised to search for required documents
6. Individual pages can be retrieved, magnified, rotated
7. Comprehensive range of tools including, highlighting, categorizing sections, appending of notes
8. Measuring and scaling tool for drawings
